Baked Brie Christmas Tree


Why have a single wheel of brie when you can have three? Chef Lynn Crawford turns your everyday cheese tray into a triple layer Christmas tree, stuffed with lemon- and thyme-infused honey, dried fruits and nuts!

Baked Brie Christmas Rree


Lemon & Thyme Honey
2 cups honey
1 lemon, rinds only
4 sprigs thyme
Brie Christmas Tree
3 wheels brie, large, medium and small
2 cups assorted fruits and nuts
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 baguette, sliced


Lemon & Thyme Honey

  1. Heat honey, lemon rinds and thyme in a small pot until simmering.
  2. Remove from heat and transfer to sterilized mason jars.
  3. Let rest for 24 hours.

Brie Christmas Tree

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  2. Place brie wheels on parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile heat honey, fruit and black pepper in medium pot over medium heat.
  4. Remove brie from oven.
  5. To build Christmas tree, spoon one third of honey mixture over bottom layer, stack second wheel of brie, and continue layering, finishing with remain honey mixture.
  6. Serve with sliced baguette.
