Cheryl Gushue

Cheryl Gushue is an award-winning North American makeup artist and global educator to beauty professionals. Cheryl started as a fashion designer 20 years ago then shifted her artistic skills to the beauty industry. After many years of cosmetic retailing and working in the salons, she turned her talents to freelance and broadened her horizons to all types of beauty and fashion-related work.

Cheryl is a beauty expert and has appeared on Steven and Chris in addition to the series So Chic. Cheryl has been a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris, done media tours for major brands and has participated in many magazine publications for her expert advice.

Cheryl has developed and taught makeup programs at major beauty colleges and presented at beauty shows in New York, L.A., Vegas, Mexico, Florida, Chicago, Canada, Berlin, London and Paris. Cheryl has won both Canadian and North American Makeup Artist of the Year awards.

Working with some of the top stylists in the hair industry from around the world like Frederick Fekkai, Kevin Murphy and Joico's artistic director Damien Carney, Cheryl maintains a strong reputation in the business for her professionalism, knowledge, and creativity.

Whether it's presenting, working backstage, doing photo shoots, writing, wardrobe styling, creative direction, designing or teaching, Cheryl enjoys every aspect of fashion and beauty and loves to provide beauty advice to industry professionals and consumers.
