Glamorous Nursery Room

With today's competitive and hard-to-crack housing market, many young families are finding themselves opting for condos or loft living over purchasing a house. Oftentimes the nurseries in these spaces are quite visible to the rest of the home and many parents are therefore choosing to decorate in a way that doesn't scream "baby"! Interior Designer Lisa Worth used a more subdued color scheme over the primary colours of the past, opting to invest in quality pieces that are transitional and will grow with the child and choosing art that the grown-ups will enjoy as much as the young ones.

Wallpaper

The wallpaper in this room is very traditional and yet it fits in wonderfully with the rest of the décor and essentially turns this entire wall into an art installation.

Crib

The crib has a very unique, sculptural feel to it. The acrylic panels allow for the wallpaper behind it to come through.

Pendants

These birch pendants are not only sculptural, but they also help soften the modern look in this space.

Carpet

This carpet was inspired by Art Deco design and architecture of the ‘20s and ‘30s. The artisans imagined this piece using only the finest wool and silks to craft this truly unique carpet.

Wall-Mounted Changing Table

This is an excellent way to save space in a nursery. This piece can be hung at any height.

Book Shelf

This architectural piece is as functional as it is stylish!

Art

Why not elevate the space even more with chic art? This photographic art piece is from Bau-Xi Gallery in Toronto.

This lamp on the dresser gives a hit of colour in a modern design.
