Go for A Creative Wall Treatment
Wallpaper can be expensive so turn to paint for creating a dramatic motif on your bedroom walls. This striped wall is a great example of how a little bit of creativity and not much money can achieve very stylish results. The colour blocked wall in pink, black, grey adds interest yet is not overwhelming to the eye.
Choose a Tufted Headboard
A tufted headboard reads as luxury. An upholstered headboard should be rich in texture and look very welcoming. Consider scale when shopping for your headboard. Don't go too small; the bed is the focal point of the room!
Invest in Quality Bedding
Buy Egyptian cotton sheets and look for a thread count over 400. Layer your bedding with lots of texture like faux furs to make it full and inviting.
Choose Eclectic Bedside Items
Avoid matching your bedside furniture. Selecting interesting pieces will give your bedroom a more curated look. Unexpected choices also add interest and personality.
Provide Seating
Seating in the bedroom makes the room feel more like a lived in area of the home. A statement chair or a couple of poufs will give you a place to perch. Have fun with these items, they are small but can really make the room sparkle!
