5 Ways to Go Eclectic Glam

Eclectic glam is one of our favourite looks at the moment, with its striking collection of bright colours and interesting pieces. Here we show you five ways to achieve this look in your own home.

1. Start with an unexpected element

This area rug is brightly coloured and sets the tone for the entire room. It’s a whimsical and modern take on a Persian rug — very of the moment.

2. Don't shy away from colour

We chose to paint the wall a really bold blue. It adds tons of personality and is definitely not for the faint of heart. We think you should paint your whole room, not just a key wall — it makes a much stronger statement. This should be a jewel tone and very vivid to define the whole space.

3. Mix different furniture styles

Eclectic Glam: Mix Different Furniture Styles

Go ahead and mix your sofa, chairs and stools for an eclectic look. Our sofa is a neutral piece that is calming and definitely adds relief to the other bright colors in the room. It’s reminiscent of 1920s and has a very sexy curve.

The velvet emerald green chairs are our second favourite colour in the room and they are so glam. They have a familiar shape from the 1930s and the green balances the bold blue wall.

We absolutely love these stools — they have an 80s vibe and the oversized studded details add a cool young edge.

4. Add a masculine touch

Eclectic Glam: Add a Masculine Touch

Every room needs to be anchored with something masculine and this triptych of horses makes a bold statement. The black and white print adds strength and is a perfect contrast to all the glamorous and girly pieces in the room.

5. Go glam with gold accessories

Now it’s time to add lots of glamorous accessories. The glass topped coffee table adds lots of sparkle and the gold base adds an interesting detail.
