The roster includes Toronto FC players Doneil Henry and Matt Sinson, Bryce Alderson and Russell Teibert of the Vancouver Whitecaps and Evan James and Carl Haworth of the Montreal Impact.
Canada must finish top-two in the eight-team CONCACAF tournament to book a berth at the London Olympics.

Forward Marcus Haber, who plays with St. Johnstone FC in Scotland, is the lone returning player from the last men's Olympic qualifying tournament in 2008.
Canada was third in 2008, falling to the United States in the semifinal match. Canada played in the 1976 and 1984 Games, and won gold at the St. Louis 1904 Olympics.
