On the women's side, New Zealand successfully defended its title with a 29-0 win over France on Saturday. While Australia finished with bronze after defeating the United States 24-14.

Canada finished seventh after beating Russia 22-10. 

On the men's side, Canada fell 35-12 against Wales in the 11th-place match.

South Africa topped Fiji 24-19 to claim bronze while New Zealand downed England 33-12 for the gold medal.
