Canada's Dylan Bibic — who placed 15th in the men's elimination event — secured bronze in the men's 5,000-metre scratch race.
The 19-year-old Bibic made history at the 2022 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in France when he became the first Canadian to win gold in the event.
Friday marked the first top-five finish for Canada in the men's scratch race after Guillemette finished sixth in both Mallorca and Berlin in the first two rounds of the UCI Track Champions League. Guillemette finished 14th on Friday.

Mitchell fell just short of a berth in the finals of the women's sprint race earlier in the day after Olena Starikova of Ukraine edged out the 29-year-old in the semifinals.

Mitchell is right behind Gros in second place entering the final day of competition, trailing by nine points.
Coles-Lyster takes bronze in women's elimination race
23-year-old Maggie Coles-Lyster raced to bronze in the women's elimination race, finishing behind American Jennifer Valente and Anita Stenberg of Norway.
The Maple Ridge, B.C., native has now finished third in the event in the last two rounds of competition.
In the women's scratch race, Van Dam — who will celebrate her 21st birthday on Sunday — finished fifth, while Coles-Lyster finished ninth.
The UCI Track Champions League wraps up on Saturday with the final leg of competition, also taking place at Lee Valley VeloPark in London.
