FIVB World League volleyball: Canada vs. Czech Republic

Fresh off qualifying for its first Olympic Games in 24 years, Canada's men's volleyball team continues its FIVB World League action against the host Czech Republic at 11:50 a.m. ET.

Canada defeated China in five sets on Sunday (25-16, 20-25, 26-24, 25-20, 15-9) at the FIVB Men’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo to help solidify a berth to the Rio Olympic Games in August. 0:55

Fresh off qualifying for their first Olympic Games in 24 years, the Canadians began their World League action with straight-sets wins against China and Egypt.

Coverage continues when the Canadians face the hosts on Sunday.

The tournament will serve as a tune-up for the Rio Olympics, where team star Gavin Schmitt is expecting big things.

"We're here. Be scared of us," Schmitt told CBC Sports after qualifying for the Summer Games. "We're coming and this is just the start for this group. We're a young group. [We want a] medal around our neck. We don't want to settle for anything less.

"We're not going [to Rio] to be tourists. We're going there to win some medals and we're going to get on that podium."
