The first weekend of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games continues with volleyball, artistic gymnastics, and plenty of aquatics.

Men's volleyball: Canada vs. U.S.A.

Gavin Schmitt and Team Canada open their tournament against the powerful Americans.

Swimming: Penny Oleksiak's 100 Fly final

After anchoring a relay bronze medal on Day 1, Penny Oleksiak swims her 100-metres fly final.

Artistic Gymnastics: Women's Qualification

Qualification commences for Canada's women including Ellie Black, Shallon Olsen, Isabela Onyshko, Brittany Rogers, and Rose Woo. 

Diving: Women's Synchronized 3m springboard 

Jennifer Abel is a bronze medallist from London 2012 in this event, and she has another medal shot, this time with Olympic rookie Pamela Ware.
