The Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic medals have been released for the Summer Games.

With the Rio 2016 Summer Games right around the corner, one of the most anticipated moments was the release of the Olympic and Paralympic medals on Tuesday.

The day has come. The official Twitter account for the 2016 Rio Games has released a picture of the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic medals:
