All Team North America needed to advance to the semifinals was a Finland win over Russia.

But Russia crashed the party Thursday afternoon when they shut out the blue and white 3-0.

The devastating loss quickly turned to anger for many Young Gun fans online.

Not only was Team North America eliminated, but dreams of an exciting matchup between them and their older counterparts on Team Canada crumbled.

Some are calling for an exhibition game between the two teams, or even a repechage like they have in the Olympics. They refuse to see their hopes and dreams collapse at the hands of the Russians.

Fans can keep focusing their anger toward Russia as they'll go head to head with Canada Saturday night in the first World Cup semifinal. As for Team North America, they may be gone but they won't soon be forgotten.
