Habs open Sunday in Philly on HNIC

The Montreal Canadiens will visit Philadelphia for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference final on Sunday night, and Hockey Night in Canada's coverage of the third-round series starts with Scotiabank Hockey Tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBC Television, with live streaming on CBCSports.ca.

The Montreal Canadiens now know the location of their opening game in the Eastern Conference final.

Montreal will visit the Philadelphia Flyers for Game 1 on Sunday night, and Hockey Night in Canada's coverage of the third-round series starts with Scotiabank Hockey Tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBC Television, with live streaming on CBCSports.ca.

The entire Canadiens-Flyers series can be seen live on CBC and CBCSports.ca. Game 2 goes Tuesday night (7 p.m. ET), with Game 3 on Thursday (6:30 p.m. ET) and Game 4 on Saturday, May 22 (3 p.m. ET).

If necessary, Game 5 goes on May 24, Game 6 on May 26, and Game 7 on May 28.

Play-by-play man Bob Cole and analyst Garry Galley will call the series, with Glenn Healy between the benches and Elliotte Friedman reporting from rinkside.

Hockey Night in Canada also has Game 4 of the Western final between San Jose and Chicago on May 23, along with Games 5, 6 and 7 if necessary.

Jim Hughson will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Craig Simpson, with Scott Oake and Kelly Hrudey reporting from ice level.

CBC's exclusive Punjabi broadcasts continue in Round 3, featuring the Montreal-Philadelphia series live and on demand at CBCSports.ca.

The Punjabi broadcasts are available free to Bell TV subscribers on channel 249; selected games for Rogers Digital Cable subscribers in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador on channel 385; to Shaw Digital Cable subscribers in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba on channel 333 and to Shaw Direct subscribers on channel 478.

Parminder Singh, voice of Hockey Night 's regular-season Punjabi broadcasts, will call the game while Harnarayan Singh provides analysis.
