Fans react to Canada's elimination at the world juniors

Canadian fans came into this world junior hockey championship with high hopes. But after they were eliminated on Saturday at the hands of host Finland, it sunk in that Canada will not be playing for a medal. Here are some reactions from around the twitterverse

Canadian fans came into this world junior hockey championship with high hopes. They won the 2015 championship on home soil and looked to have a vastly talented team heading into this tournament. 

But after they were eliminated on Saturday at the hands of host Finland with a 6-5 loss in the qurter-finals, and it sunk in that Canada will not be playing for a medal. In fact, it's the first time in 18 years they've missed the semifinals.
