Evander Kane makes a lot of money, and he's not afraid to show it.

The Winnipeg Jets forward posted a photo on his Instagram account in which he appears to be doing pushups with bundles of U.S. currency on his back, while part of the Las Vegas skyline is visible in the background.

It's a callback of sorts to a picture Kane posted from a trip to Vegas a few years back. He marked the "anniversary" of that photo, which created a stir during an NHL lockout, last week on his Twitter account.

Kane, 23, is pulling in $6 million US in salary this season — the third in his six-year, $31.5-million contract.

He has four goals and five assists in 17 games.
