Demitra out of Canucks lineup, Pyatt in

Forward Pavol Demitra will not play for the Vancouver Canucks in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal versus the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday because of an undisclosed injury.

Demitra, who has one goal and two assists in six playoff games during the Canucks' post-season run, will be re-evaluated next week.

Subbing in for Demitra will be winger Taylor Pyatt, who will play his first game in over a month. He has been out of the lineup since his fiancée died in a car crash in early April.

Pyatt will play in his usual spot on the third line with Steve Bernier and Kyle Wellwood.

But the Canucks are getting healthier on the blue-line, as Vancouver defenceman Sami Salo looks poised to make a return to the ice. Salo (lower body injury) has boarded a plane to Chicago and is expected to play Game 4 on Thursday.
