Montreal Canadiens winger Dale Weise had quite the performance in his first game against the Boston Bruins since the infamous handshake threat during last year's playoffs.

Weise completed the Gordie Howe hat trick Thursday night at the Bell Centre — goal, assist, fight.

First, he was involved in a tussle with Bruins forward Gregory Campbell.

Campbell took exception to this hit.

The Bruins centre quickly got up and skated directly toward Weise in the Montreal end.

But the Habs forward dropped Campbell and let a few more punches fly before the fight was broken up by officials.

Weise did further damage to the Bruins. After he was taken down by Dennis Seidenberg during a breakaway, Weise beat Bruins goalie Niklas Svedberg on a penalty shot in the second period.

Weise then sent a nifty pass to teammate Max Pacioretty, who beat Svedberg with a one-timer later in the second period.
