Andre Burakovsky does it all for Capitals
Scores twice to lead Washington to 3-1 series lead

He was a scoring hotshot in junior, but nothing about Andre Burakovsky's first NHL season suggested what he would accomplish what he did Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old Washington Capitals winger scored his first two playoff goals, the tying and winning markers for his team, as the Caps grabbed a 3-1 series advantage over the New York Rangers.
Burakovsky had nine goals in 53 regular-season games for the Caps but counted in only three statistical columns coming into Wednesday's Game 4 against the Rangers. Burakovsky had played in six games, was a plus-1, and had eight shots on goal.
Trailing 1-0 to the Rangers in the second period, Burakovsky showed his skill beating Henrik Lundqvist to even the game.
He was right back at it in the third period, again finding the range to put the Capitals up 2-1 in the game, and eventually 3-1 in the series.
Born in Austria and the son of former Ottawa Senator Robert Burakovsky, Andre signed an entry-level contract with the Capitals in 2013. He was a mainstay of the Swedish junior hockey system and stepped right into a starring role with the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League last season, scoring 41 goals and adding 46 assists.
Although Burakovsky had a two-goal game on February 15 against the Anaheim Ducks, it's safe to say he played the game of his life Wednesday against the Rangers.
