FIRST STAR: Steven Stamkos, C, Tampa Bay

The Lightning sophomore forward scored twice and set up linemate Brandon Bochenski for another goal in Tampa’s 4-2 victory  in New Jersey. This was the game delayed Friday evening due to a power outage and finished on Sunday.

SECOND STAR: Jonas Hiller, G, Anaheim

The surging Ducks have won four in a row because of Hiller’s stellar netminding. He has allowed only six goals in this stretch, including a 42-save performance in Anaheim’s 3-1 win against Chicago on Sunday.

THIRD STAR: Ray Whitney, LW, Carolina

The veteran Hurricanes forward set up two goals for Carolina in its 4-1 victory at home against the struggling Senators. The Hurricanes won back-to-back games for the first time in more than a month.
