FIRST STAR: Mason Raymond, LW, Vancouver

The speedy forward scored twice and added an assist  in the Canucks' 3-2 win against the St. Louis Blues, which was Vancouver's last home game until mid-March. The pair of goals pushed Raymond’s total to 20 for the first time in his young career.

SECOND STAR: Cam Ward, G, Carolina

The Hurricanes goalie was brilliant, stopping 37 of 38 shots, including 21 of 22 during a busy second period, to lead Carolina to a 5-1 win against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

THIRD STAR: Antero Niittymaki, G, Tampa Bay

The Lightning netminder made 33 saves to earn his first shutout  of the season and fifth of his career in a 3-0 blanking of the Montreal Canadiens in Tampa Bay. The Lightning have their first three-game winning streak of the season.
