Canada wins Spengler Cup opener

Brandon Reid of Kirkland, Que., and Chris Herperger of Esterhazy, Sask., also scored for Canada.

Mikko Kurvinen, Mikael Simons and Eric Johansson replied for Mora.

Justin Pogge, last year's CHL player of the year, got the win in goal for Canada.
