Ray Rice, Roger Goodell grilled on Twitter

It didn’t take long for people to react on Twitter to the story of Ray Rice, who was indefinitely suspended by the NFL after a new domestic violence video surfaced Monday.

It didn’t take long for people – including celebrities and journalists — to react to the most talked about sports story of the day: Ray Rice.

The running back was cut by the Baltimore Ravens and indefinitely suspended by the NFL after a new video posted on Monday by TMZ showed him striking his then fiancée in an elevator at an Atlantic City hotel earlier this year.  

Predictably, Rice was lambasted on Twitter, but there was also heavy criticism directed at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who suspended Rice for only two games on July 24 for the incident.

Goodwell was widely grilled for being too lenient.
