Blue Jays postponed in Chicago, head to Texas
Toronto has won 4 of last 6
The Toronto Blue Jays' game at the Chicago White Sox scheduled for Wednesday was postponed because of a forecast of severe weather.
No makeup date has yet been announced. The Jays and ChiSox split the first two games of the series after splitting a four-game set in Toronto in April.
Chicago's victory in the series opener on Monday was delayed by fog.
The forecast for the Chicago metropolitan area calls for winds up to 112 kilometres per hour, with the possibility of hail and even a tornado watch.
Toronto continues its road trip on Thursday in Texas, where they begin a four-game set against the Rangers.
Esmil Rogers (1-2, 3.60), scheduled to get the call against Chicago, will start against the Rangers. Texas counters with Yu Darvish.
