Blue Jays place Jose Bautista on 15-day DL
Slugger out with a hip bone bruise

The Toronto Blue Jays have placed outfielder Jose Bautista on the 15-day disabled list with a hip bone bruise.
Bautista was removed in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader in New York against the Yankees after feeling soreness in his left hip, an injury he initially suffered about two weeks ago.
The right fielder wasn't in the lineup for the second game as Toronto extended its losing streak in New York to 11 games.
"I am about 70 per cent," Bautista said. "I don't think I am doing the team any favours playing with it right now."
Manager John Gibbons said Bautista will rest for two weeks before being evaluated again.
The 32-year-old slugger is hitting .259 with 28 home runs and 78 RBIs this season.
Outfielder Moises Sierra will replace Bautista in the 40-man roster.
