The Toronto Blue Jays have placed third baseman Brett Lawrie on the 15-day disabled list with a possible rib cage injury.
The Toronto Blue Jays have placed third baseman Brett Lawrie on the 15-day disabled list.
Lawrie — who has a possible rib cage injury — is on the DL retroactive to Aug. 4.
On Wednesday, Lawrie missed his fourth consecutive game because of a rib cage injury.
Lawrie had an MRI exam Tuesday night that showed some oblique inflammation.
