Deep Dark Concert

Today on the X we bring you a full recorded live concert with Saskatoon's Deep Dark Woods at the Great Hall in Toronto

Hot on the heels of wildly successful American and European tours Saskatoon's The Deep Dark Woods returned to Canada with a triumphant sold-out show at Toronto's The Great Hall.

When I arrived for sound check the band was feeling optimistic. Tickets for the evening concert had sold well -- a good 60% of the tickets had sold. Great news as The Great Hall was the biggest Toronto venue The Deep Dark Woods had played. By the time the doors opened that evening a line up of fans had grown around the block.

A good night was quickly turning in to a great night. Old Man Luedecke opened the show to a constant stream of people finding the bar and their seats. When The Deep Dark Woods took the stage the crowd was good and warmed up and a party was about to begin. The Deep Dark Woods live show is part country jamboree and part Allman Brothers style jam band and guaranteed 100% fun.

The Deep Dark Woods were joined on stage for this show by violinist Kendel Carson and Old Man Luedecke who was welcomed back to the stage like he was an old friend.
