
Meet the Smartest Hosts: Jessi Cruickshank and Jeff Douglas!
We've lined up two of the smartest hosts for the new season of Canada's Smartest Person and we're excited to announce them today.
Jessi Cruickshank
Jessi is one of the most beloved TV personalities in Canada and "one of the funniest women on TV today, period." (The Province). Cruickshank grew up in Vancouver, where she broke into comedy as the only girl in an all-male improv troupe alongside Seth Rogan. She soon became a household name as the face of MTV Canada, hosting the daily comedy show MTV Live and smash hit The Hills After Show.
The After Show became an international phenomenon, syndicated in over 10 countries and generating record-breaking ratings in Canada and the US. Jessi's self-deprecating humor, irreverent interview style and eclectic flair for fashion quickly made her a fan-favorite. Jessi splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles where she can currently be seen on The CW series Oh Sit!, TV Land sitcom Kirstie, and as the L.A correspondent for eTalk.

Jeff Douglas
Jeff Douglas is a Canadian presenter, actor and television personality whose work has been seen by audiences in over 160 countries. His combination of irreverence, enthusiasm, warmth and humour has endeared him to viewers around the world.
Jeff has garnered two Gemini Nominations, and a Viewers Choice Nomination for his work on History Television’s Ancestors In The Attic , Working Over Time, and Things That Move. More Recently, Jeff was host of Making History, an internationally broadcast four-part series exploring and re-creating significant historic places and events. Jeff also hosted the 161 country-wide live broadcast of Jetman Live, a live television event showcasing adventurer Yves Rossy's attempt to be the first person to fly across the English Channel using a jet pack.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Jeff currently lives and works in Toronto; Jeff is currently the Co-Host on CBC Radios’s As It Happens.
