Mike Johnston is an award-winning Producer from Vancouver, British Columbia. Originally from Oakville, Ontario, Mike graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production.

Mike champions diverse Canadian stories and voices that are reflective of Canada’s multicultural fabric. Mike has worked with various creative outlets and agencies including CBC Arts, CBC Short Docs, Telus Storyhive, Crazy8s and Bell Media’s Harold Greenberg Fund. In 2020, Mike was nominated for a Leo Award for his work on Jerome Yoo’s Idols Never Die. Mike is the co-founder and executive producer of Vancouver-based production company, Studio 104 Entertainment where he runs their feature film and unscripted development slate.
