Corey Stanton is an award-winning filmmaker based out of Toronto, Canada.

After earning his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from York University and his Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Ottawa, Stanton could no longer deny his lifelong passion for filmmaking, and he opted not to continue his path as a medical doctor.

In 2017, Stanton released his short medical documentary The Match, which was featured by the Canadian Medical Association. The short doc has since been shared thousands of times across the globe, serving as an educational tool in medical schools and beyond.

In 2018, one year after graduating medical school, Stanton wrote, directed, produced, edited, and composed the score for his feature film debut, Robbery. The film went on to win Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2018 Toronto After Dark Film Festival, Best First Canadian Feature at the 2019 Victoria Film Festival and it is now available to worldwide audiences on Amazon Prime Video, Air Canada In-Flight Entertainment, and VOD platforms.

Today, Stanton focuses on writing, directing, and producing.
