Emily Hampshire

Montreal native Emily Hampshire can be seen starring in two critically acclaimed and vastly different television series at the same time. Hampshire portrays fan favourite ’Stevie Budd' in Schitt’s Creek, opposite Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, for which she has received multiple Canadian Screen Awards. In addition, she plays ‘Jennifer Goines’ in Syfy/Hulu's 12 Monkeys and has garnered numerous accolades and acclaim for her performance in the character first made iconic by Brad Pitt. Hampshire has also received a Golden Maple Award for her work on both 12 Monkeys and Schitt’s Creek

In 2018, Hampshire shot The Life and Death of John F. Donovan with Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman and Kit Harrington from celebrated director Xavier Dolan. She was also seen in Darren Aronofsky’s new feature Mother! as well as the lead in the indie Never Saw It Coming. No stranger to the Toronto International Film Festival, Hampshire has had eight movies premiere at the prestigious festival. In 2012, she received the Birks Canadian Diamond Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her career and work in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis.

Hampshire has also been named an ‘International Star You Need To Know’ by Variety as well as being featured on the NextGen Canada list by The Hollywood Reporter. 

Hampshire currently splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles.
