Dorothy's Secret

Aired Sunday, September 17

"Dorothy's Secret" is the story of an elderly prostitute coming to terms with giving up her
daughter many years ago. In this romantic and fantastical film, Dorothy recalls the
defining moments in her storied life that made her who she is today, reminding us that
people are never actually who they appear to be: they're usually much better.

As she puzzles out her life she measures what it has been and what it is worth. And
somehow, in her ripe old age, she's found a way to put all the noise and pain behind
her. After all, it is her life. It is to be loved.
