Phone-in: Should Remembrance Day Be Declared A National Holiday ?

Canadians across the country are taking a moment today to mark Remembrance Day. But November 11th is not a national holiday. For most people, it's a regular work day. Many people think Remembrance Day should be set aside so that everyone can remember people who died in wars. In fact, students at Laurier Macdonald High School in St-Leonard in Montreal have even gone so far as to organize a petition campaign demanding that Remembrance Day be declared a national holiday ......
