The Future of Food

The earth's population is expected to hit 9 billion people by the end of 2060.  To feed all of those hungry mouths we will need a 70% increase in food production. And already a billion people are going hungry. We need to drastically change our food sources and production methods, and we have to do it fast.  It sounds almost impossible, but scientists are coming up with answers. "Food of the Future" explores some of those answers -- from vertical farms to meat gardens to eating invasive species. Listen to what the future will taste like -- with CBC science columnist Torah Kachur.
