Top holiday planner says 90% of Canadians will "screw up" Christmas
As the holiday season quickly approaches many Canadians find themselves panicking about being under prepared; and according to Joan Classon that fear may be well deserved. Ms. Classon is one of Vancouver's top holiday planners and argues that Canadians are chronically under prepared when it comes to Christmas.
"I tell people all the time, if you are not ready by the third week in November you've messed up the holidays."
"People think they can just put up a tree a week before and be done with it, it's not that easy. You need to plan all year if you are going to do Christmas right," says Classon.
This week Peter Oldring visited with Joan and learned why he, and many other Canadians, may want to rethink how to plan for the holidays.
