Kelowna police officer told he can no longer patrol on his unicycle
Bicycles are an effective way for police to patrol Canadian streets and are a popular sight in many Canadian communities but according to the Kelowna Police Service, unicycles are not considered appropriate.
Last week, Officer Gerald Brighton was told by the force that he can no longer patrol on his preferred method of transport.
"I love riding a unicycle," said Brighton, "to be told I can't police while riding one, is not only frustrating it's heartbreaking."
Listen to Mr. Brighton's interview to learn why he believes a unicycle is the greatest mode of transport ever invented.
