Creative Canadian company converts entire office into swimming pool
Smart organizations understand that a fun, creative work environment will enhance the performance of its employees.
Deanlow Consulting in Hamilton, Ontario has not only embraced this philosophy, they've taken it one step further. In April, they moved away from traditional ergonomic chairs and cubicles by converting their entire office into a swimming pool - or as they call it an 'Aquatic Work Environment'. (A.W.E)
"Swimming promotes creative thinking," says CEO Robert Dowling. "Our employees are incredibly productive because they spend their work day splashing around in a pool."
Mr. Dowling thinks an 'Aquatic Work Environment' is the office of the future and believes more companies should follow suit.
"Ditch the desks and ditch the boardroom! Tell your people to bring their trunks and they will love working for you."
