Nothing can challenge the spirit of Christmas more than ... Christmas.

It's a season of paradoxes: high anticipation and crashing disappointment, meticulous planning and all hell breaking loose, family frolics and, of course, fireworks.

But if you think your Christmas is an emotional obstacle course, consider the territory that the ever-faithful minister, priest or pastor has to navigate.

It's your cranky Uncle Mort  - cubed: your wild cousin Mary - multiplied. And these clergy-people are supposed to inspire, lead - AND be nice to everyone.

Our documentary, While Shepherds Watch Their Flock, was produced by Frank Faulk.
