LW: 'The Inuit story is that one of the ships went further south to Igloolik'
In parts of Northern Canada, he's a neighbour, kept alive through oral history. Although he and his two ships remained lost, they seemed tantalizingly close. In fact, the ship is exactly where some Inuit stories suggested it would be.
