Why recycling glass doesn't make you green

Recycling advocate Helen Spiegelman looks at the economics of glass recycling, and comes to a solution that may not be as green as you'd think.

After a career championing the merits of recycling, Helen Spiegelman started questioning if recycling glass really saves energy. The co-founder of Campaign for Real Recycling in Vancouver and founder of Zero Waste Vancouver shares her findings with Jim Brown.
