Workplace analysts have been calling for the death of the annual employee engagement survey for years now. It's considered ineffective, laborious, and disenfranchising. Now there are a crop of new digital services that offer quick and easy "pulse surveys" -- just a few quick questions, weekly, that are easy to do. We speak to Jacob Shriar of Montreal-based Officevibe, one of the many companies offering up this kind of a service.
