Can virtual reality help us appreciate literature?

If you haven't read James Joyce's Ulysses​, you're not alone! That's why Dublin filmmaker Eoghan Kidney has designed a virtual reality version that he hopes will help people appreciate the famous book. Spark contributor Elliot Rambach tries it out, and ponders the experience of VR versus IRL.
