The state of predictive policing in Canada

A look at Canada's approach to predictive policing.

Ryan Prox is a special constable with the Vancouver Police Department, and an adjunct professor at Simon Fraser University, in the Police Studies Program. This past week, he organized a conference  on "Intelligence-Led Policing and Crime Analytics," where predictive policing was a hot topic.

Ryan discusses the current state of predictive policing in Canada, how it differs from the U.S, and why he thinks it's an effective tool for law enforcement.
