Can't we come up with another sound?

You can't escape the incessant beeps -- in the supermarket, a truck backing up outside your window at 6:00am, and every single thing you touch in your car. Spark contributor Denis Grignon looks into why, above all the other noise in our lives, beeps are still designed to get on our nerves.
