Author Chloe Benjamin on magic, the occult and superstition in her latest novel The Immortalists
Chloe Benjamin discusses her new novel, The Immortalists, about four siblings who visit a fortune teller and find out the exact date their lives will end.

If you could find out the exact date your life would end, would you want to know? Would you start doing things differently? These are the heavy questions at the heart of a new novel called The Immortalists written by Chloe Benjamin. It's about four young siblings who one day see a fortune teller who informs them of the exact day, month and year each of them will die.
Today, Benjamin joins host Tom Power from Wisconsin to explain just how she wove together a story that is equal parts supernatural thriller and family drama.
