In a segment that we call the q Thursday Headliner, we invite a band or artist we think you need to hear to kick off the show with a live performance.

This week, the cast of Girl From The North Country — Katie Brayben, Anna-Jane Casey, Rachel John and Gloria Obianyo — drop by the q studio to perform some new arrangements of songs you might already know. The production reimagines the music and lyrics of Bob Dylan.

Playwright Conor McPherson also joins host Tom Power live from Dublin for a chat about how he developed the musical.

Girl From The North Country is having its Canadian premiere in Toronto right now. It runs until Sunday, Nov. 24.
