It's been two years since the U.K. started the process of leaving the European Union. British DJ and producer Matthew Herbert set out to soundtrack the entire journey. In doing so, he enlisted the help of more than a thousand collaborators across the U.K. and Europe for a project called the Brexit Big Band. Now, as that journey culminates in a vast and intensely political album titled The State Between Us, Herbert joins Tom Power to reckon with what it means to be British today.
