When does a regular joke become a dad joke? Answer: when it's fully groan.

With Father's Day just around the corner, we figured we'd investigate what goes into the perfect dad joke. You could say every dad joke is just a bad joke — full of puns that make you cringe — but we wanted to dig deeper.

Jeremy Taggart and Jonathan Torrens are the co-hosts of the popular Taggart and Torrens podcast and self-proclaimed dad joke experts. The two of them unpack some of these wise cracks with the help of another special guest, Neil Patrick Harris.

If that wasn't enough for you, watch Taggart and Torrens attempt to hold back their laughter in this Bad Joke-Off.
