Billboard art project showcases female Indigenous artists coast to coast
A new art project has taken over billboards all across the country. Resilience is a creative act of reconciliation and the biggest showcase of female Indigenous artists ever in Canada. Artworks by 50 female Indigenous artists are displayed on more than 160 billboards and large scale posters from Victoria to St. John's. Today, the curator of Resilience, Lee-Ann Martin, joins q guest host Gill Deacon live from Ottawa to talk about taking this art out of the gallery and putting it right in front of your windshield.
Head to the project's website for a map of the exhibition, or search individual artist names for a complete list of where their work will be featured.
