In a new segment that we're calling the q Thursday Headliner, we invite a band or artist we think you need to hear to kick off the show with a live performance.

This week, Saskatchewan blues-rocker Jordan Cook, a.k.a. Reignwolf, drops by the q studio to supercharge our day with some live music from his recently released debut album Hear Me Out.

He joins guest host Laurie Brown to tell us how a guy from Saskatchewan ends up rubbing shoulders with the likes of Black Sabbath, the Pixies and Wu-Tang Clan.

Watch Reignwolf's performances below.

You can catch Reignwolf performing tonight in Toronto at the Mod Club and at Osheaga this weekend in Montreal.
