Munschtime, a new play premiering at Toronto's Young People's Theatre, is based on the stories of beloved children's author, Robert Munsch. Classics like Love You Forever, A Promise is a Promise and Pigs — books many of us probably grew up reading.

Munsch's books are incredibly fun to read and they're full of action, but for Allen MacInnis, who helped adapt them for the stage, it's all about the way Munsch talks to kids.

Today on the show, cast members of Munschtime, including Lisa Nasson, Dov Mickelson and Cheri Maracle, talk about the new production and what it is about Munsch's writing that we all love so much.

Munschtime kicks off its run at Young People's Theatre this week and will go until May 14. For more information, head over to their website
